Travel from the Inside Out was created for women who want travel to feel grounded, human, and meaningful — not rushed, performative, or exhausting.
We design cultural experiences for this season of life:
when comfort matters, pacing matters, and connection matters more than checking boxes.
Our approach is simple:
slower days
one primary home base
small groups of like-minded women
real engagement with place, people, and daily life
These are not tours designed to impress.
They are experiences designed to settle you into a place — so you can feel it, understand it, and carry it home with you.
Travel, here, isn’t about escape.
It’s about alignment.
ABOUT
Francesca Elisabetta is a dual citizen of the United States and Italy, a connection that began through her Italian grandparents and the discovery of her extended Italian family. She lived in Spoleto for over 15 years, raising her daughter and immersing herself in the rhythm of small-town life.
Her perspective is shaped by decades of international experiences, personal resilience, and a deep familiarity with healthcare systems abroad—especially following extensive, complex medical care, including open-heart surgery in Rome. These experiences have given her an intuitive understanding of culture, wellness, and community.
She has been featured in media such as AARP Ethel, CNN, and Authority Magazine, sharing reflections rooted in lived experience. Inspired by travel and recovery, Francesca continues to explore how place, heritage, and healing shape our lives.
